Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you offer membership plans?

Yes, we have our Gold Membership package which costs £35 per month. It means you can spread the costs of your dental treatment throughout the year. It also means you are less likely to develop dental issues as you are getting regular check-ups.

  • What dental services do you offer?

Our dental practice offers a wide range of services including routine check-ups, dental hygienist appointments, composite fillings, CEREC same-day crowns, bridges, root canals, emergency dentist appointments, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and more. We also have a dental implant centre.

  • I'm nervous about dental visits. What can I do to feel more comfortable?

We understand that many people experience dental anxiety. It's perfectly normal! Let us know about your concerns when you book your appointment or when you arrive. We can offer several strategies to help, such as explaining procedures in detail, using relaxation techniques etc. We want to work with you to make your experience as comfortable as possible. Open communication is key!

  • How often should I visit the dentist for a check-up?

The general recommendation is to see your dentist every six months for a check-up and clean. However, this can vary depending on your individual oral health needs. Your dentist will assess your specific situation and recommend a personalised schedule that's right for you. Some people may need to visit more frequently, while others may be fine with less frequent visits.

  • What can I expect during a dental appointment?

A routine check-up typically includes an examination of your teeth and gums, and X-rays (usually taken periodically). During the hygienist visit, they will remove plaque and tartar buildup. The dentist will examine your teeth for cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues. They'll also check your bite and look for any signs of oral cancer. X-rays help us see what's happening beneath the surface of your teeth and detect any problems that might not be visible during a visual exam.

  • My gums sometimes bleed when I brush. Is that normal?

While a little bit of bleeding occasionally might not be a major concern, consistently bleeding gums are often a sign of gum disease (gingivitis). It's important to address this issue as soon as possible, as untreated gum disease can lead to more serious problems, including tooth loss. Schedule an appointment with us to have your gums evaluated. We can provide you with personalised advice on how to improve your gum health and prevent further issues.

  • How do I book an appointment?

Booking an appointment is easy. You can call our dental practice during business hours, schedule online through our website, or use our convenient appointment request form. We'll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

  • Do you treat children?

Yes, we welcome patients of all ages, including children. Our friendly and experienced team is dedicated to providing gentle and compassionate dental care for the entire family.
